Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and GrowX when you use trygrowx.app, the GrowX Chrome extension and the related services (together, "GrowX"). By signing in or using GrowX, you accept them. If you disagree with any part, please do not use GrowX.

GrowX is a personal project run by an individual based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. There is no company behind it. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that individual. GrowX is independent from X Corp.

1. What GrowX does

GrowX helps you grow on X. It learns your writing voice from your posts, drafts posts and replies, suggests images, schedules posts you approve, shows who engages with you and keeps a library of posts that work in your niche. A Chrome extension adds draft and save buttons on x.com.

You stay in control of what goes out:

  • GrowX publishes a post only after you approve or schedule it, or when you press a button that sends it, such as publishing now or posting a reply from the reply feed.
  • The extension fills X's own composer. You press X's button yourself.
  • GrowX never sends direct messages. For a DM, it opens X's compose window with your draft filled in, and you press Send on X.

2. Who can use GrowX

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
  • You need an X account in good standing. You sign in with X, and GrowX acts on your account only through the permissions you grant on X's sign-in screen.
  • You can use GrowX only where the law allows it.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your X login and your extension connection secure.
  • You can revoke GrowX's access at any time in your X settings, and you can disconnect the extension from its settings.
  • Tell us at contact@trygrowx.app if you think someone else has used your account.

4. Your content and your responsibility

Your posts, replies, ideas, voice notes, photos and other material are yours. You give GrowX a limited licence to store, process and display them, and to send them to the services described in the Privacy Policy, only to run GrowX for you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for public posts you chose to contribute to the shared library (see the Privacy Policy).

You are responsible for everything that is published on your X account through GrowX, including drafts you approve. Please read every draft before you approve it. You also agree to:

  • follow X's rules and X's automation rules, which apply to your account and to the way you use GrowX;
  • hold the rights to the text, photos and other material you give GrowX, and use only photos of yourself, or of people who have agreed, for image features;
  • follow the laws that apply to you, including rules on advertising disclosures.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use GrowX for lawful, honest growth on X. Please avoid:

  • spam, harassment, hate, impersonation, deception or illegal content;
  • bought followers, engagement pods or mass automated replies and follows;
  • uploading photos of other people without their agreement;
  • probing, overloading or attacking GrowX, or trying to reach another user's data;
  • reselling GrowX, or copying it to build a competing service;
  • using the extension to read X pages beyond the way it is designed to work, or changing it to do so.

We may limit, pause or end access for use that breaks these rules or puts GrowX or other people at risk.

6. AI output

GrowX uses AI models to write drafts, reply suggestions, images, alt text and summaries. AI output can be inaccurate, repetitive, out of date or unsuitable for your audience. It can sound like something you would not say. You are the editor. Please check facts, tone, links, names and anything sensitive before you publish.

Generated drafts and images are created for you. We make no promise that they are unique, or that they are free of other people's rights.

7. Plans, trial and payments

  • New accounts start with a free trial of the Pro plan. After the trial, a paid plan is needed to keep using the paid features. The current plan name, price and allowances are shown on the pricing section of the home page and on the Billing page in the app.
  • Some actions have usage allowances. When you reach one, you can wait for it to renew or use credits where credits are offered. Credit packs are one-time purchases.
  • Payments are handled by Dodo Payments. GrowX never sees or stores your card number. Your use of the checkout is also covered by Dodo Payments' own terms.
  • Subscriptions renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page or the customer portal, and cancelling stops future charges.
  • To ask about a refund, email contact@trygrowx.app. We read each request and reply with a decision. Nothing in these terms limits any refund right you have under the law.
  • We may change prices or allowances. The current ones are always shown on the Billing page.

8. Third-party services

GrowX works with X, Microsoft Azure OpenAI, Cloudflare and Dodo Payments, listed in the Privacy Policy. Those services have their own terms. If X changes or restricts its API, or limits your account, some GrowX features may change or stop working. We are not responsible for what X does with your account.

9. Our service, as is

GrowX is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted service. We cannot promise growth, followers, impressions or income. Results depend on your content, your audience and X.

We work to keep GrowX running and may change, add or remove features at any time.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost audience, lost data or harm to your reputation or your X account;
  • our total liability for any claim related to GrowX is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 100 if you have paid nothing.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending your use, and deleting your account

You can stop using GrowX at any time. You can delete your account in Settings, under Danger zone. Deleting your account cancels your subscription, removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy, and cannot be undone. Your X account stays as it is, and posts already published on X stay on X.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering GrowX.

Sections that by their nature should continue after the end of these terms, such as sections 9, 10 and 13, continue.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For a material change, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies. If you keep using GrowX after a change applies, you accept the new terms. If you disagree, you can delete your account.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute that arises from them or from your use of GrowX. If you are a consumer, you also keep any rights you have under mandatory laws where you live.
